Things at the Sandpeddler are improving. We survived Hurricane Florence relatively well. Our elevator work is now complete and the roof is on. Our soffit repair completion has been pushed out due to the winds of Hurricane Michael blowing through and the lack of available equipment for working high but we expect them to start and finish that the week of November 18. Most rooms will have missing baseboards, holes in bottoms of walls as well as dehumidifiers and/or fans in them.  We ask that you empty the dehumidifier at least daily or allow us access to your suite. We are happy to have you in our ugly duckling phase but please understand that we are not 100%. Breakfast is available…housekeeping will take care of your needs and, as always, you will have the hospitality that you know and love.

Quiet Time is 10pm – 8am. Violators of the Quiet Time policy will be asked to leave without refund. Pool hours are 9am until dark, April 1 – October 31. (1) parking space is allowed per unit. Guest with numbered passes must be in their assigned space. There are (3) overflow GUEST spaces that are first come, first served. The extra GUEST passes do not guarantee a space and will be towed if not in one of the (3) guest spaces. Extra parking is available at the Town lot next door. There is no parking available for trailers or oversized vehicles. Please return keys to front desk or drop in key drop box…there is a $25 per key charge for missing keys. Sandpeddler is not responsible for forgotten items in the rooms.

This is a non-smoking property. Sandpeddler Inn and Suites is a Pet Free hotel although some owners bring their pets from time to time. Owners pets are kept leashed and are not allowed in common spaces. If allergies are an issue, please call the front desk to request one of our pet free suites. By law, service dogs trained to mitigate a disability must be allowed.

Guests are responsible for damages to property and will be charged accordingly. Minimum $100. This includes spray-tanning, hair dye, in-room smoking, missing or damaged property and having unauthorized pets. Take care to not allow sharp objects or abuse of the sofa beds…Air Dream mattress replacement is $250- and will be charged if bed is damaged. Smoking in the room of any type including vaping is a $250 charge. Lost and left items are not the responsibility of the Sandpeddler.

Check-in is at 3pm…Early check-in at 2pm based on availability…Check-out is at 11am and late check-outs are based on availability and not available Friday – Sunday…No early check-outs or check-in on Sunday…After Hours Check-in must be prearranged and prepaid.

Guests are responsible when making, changing or cancelling a reservation by email or phone to verify that you receive a correct confirmation via email. Must be 25 years of age with valid ID to book reservation. No call, no show for multiple day reservations will be cancelled at 9am the next day and the credit card on file will be charged for the first night. All reservations must be confirmed with a credit card at the time that reservation is made. Online travel agency reservations such as will be charged 72 hours prior to arrival and at that time are not subject to refund.

For most reservations, there is a 72 hour Cancellation Policy – For reservations cancelled with less than 72 hour notice, the first night will be charged. For 5 day or longer  and Holiday/Special Event Periods, there is a 7 day cancellation…For Monthly, there is a 30 day cancellation. Special cancellation policies are required for groups. Cancellations for weather related issues are only allowed if the island has at least a voluntary evacuation or the airport ILM has been closed.
